I experience reality as a three-dimensional manifestation of pure light meeting darkness, splitting into all the spectral colors. Thus, everything exists within the rainbow.

NYCHOS

“Enter the Rainbow“ by NYCHOS  is an excerpt of the artist’s novel body of work “The Awakening“, presented earlier this year at Mirus Gallery, Los Angeles. The Denver show now exhibits the most colorful chapter of this oeuvre, in which the artist literally presents himself in a very new light.

Glowing translucent skins wrap skeletons in all spectral colors. Enhanced by symbolic imagery, these paintings tell a journey of deep insight and healing.

Retrospective elements in form of NYCHOS’ classic dissection pieces introduce the exhibition, as they are early manifestations of his approach to exploring what lies beyond the surface that we know. The show’s centerpiece “Rainbow Mickey Head Anatomy“ bridges these two worlds and allows the viewers to smoothly transition and enter the rainbow.
